Jenny is a practicing pharmacist, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University and Clinical Associate at RMIT university. She is the Vice President of the PSA Branch committee, and an Editorial Board Member of AUS-DI (Drug information), SHPA Don’t Rush to Crush, Guidelines Committee for the National Asthma Council Australian Asthma Handbook, and RACGP Silver book for Aged Care.
Jenny is an accredited consultant pharmacist, and conducts her own company focussing on medication reviews in the home and Aged Care Facilities as well as Quality Use of Medicine consultancy. She works regularly in community pharmacy plus sessions in a GP clinic at a Community Health Centre. Jenny has published over 500 educational articles and presents hundreds of talks annually.
In 2010 Jenny received the Sanofi-Aventis award by the University of Sydney, in 2013 the PSA Australian Pharmacist of the Year and in 2016 Jenny was the AACP-MIMs Consultant Pharmacist of the Year.
Matthew Ball is a mental health practitioner, trainer and Founder/Director at the Humane Clinic, Adelaide. He is also trained as a psychotherapist and has experiences of being labelled as experiencing 'schizophrenia' in the 1990's. Matt is the first Author of Dissocaichotic framework and the Suicide Narratives approach, models that underpin the work of the Humane Clinic in providing a non apologising alternative to the mental health system.
He was previously awarded Australian Mental Health Nurse of the Year and in 2021 Matt has led a team opening the Just Listening Community; a community led emergency department alternative for people in crisis and distress that operates outside of the mental health system.
Matt was a Finalist in the 2022 Aster Guardians: Global Nursing Awards which recognised his contribution to nursing. Matt was selected as one of 10 finalists from over 24,000 applicants.
