Joyce J. Fitzpatrick

PhD, MBA, RN, FAAN, FNAP, FAANP(H) 

Joyce Fitzpatrick is Director of the Marian K. Shaughnessy Nurse Leadership Academy, Elizabeth Brooks Ford Professor of Nursing and Distinguished University Professor, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. She has worked with colleagues in advanced practice specialties for several years, particularly focused on advancing nursing research and evidence based practice. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, the National Academies of Practice, and an Honorary Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Fitzpatrick is widely published in nursing and health care literature with over 400 publications, including more than 80 books. Dr. Fitzpatrick has received the AJN Book of the Year Award 22 times. In 2014, Dr. Fitzpatrick was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame and in 2016 was named a Living Legend by the American Academy of Nursing. In 2019 Dr. Fitzpatrick received the International Council of Nurses Florence Nightingale award for global contributions to the profession.


Tom Buckley

Tom Buckley is an associate professor at the Susan Wakil School of Nursing at the University of Sydney. He has qualifications in Health Sciences, a master’s degree in Nursing and a PhD in the area of preventative cardiology. Tom is an internationally recognised expert on the interaction between psychological and physiological stress and how this impacts wellbeing and human performance. In addition to his academic work, Tom is the Director of Research and Human Performance at StriveStronger, a human performance and wellbeing consultancy.

With almost 30 years of experience in coronary care and intensive care, Tom is highly experienced as a health and physiology coach with expertise in helping individuals to optimise physiological capacity, reduce chronic disease risk factors and manage stress and recovery. Haven spent almost 20 years studying behavioural sciences, Tom uses this knowledge at StriveStronger to help people make sustained changes in their lives in the pursuit of gaining better satisfaction and quality of life. Using blood and DNA profiling and state of the art bio and neurofeedback techniques, Tom has expertise in helping people increase metabolism and daily energy levels, develop metabolic flexibility, optimise body weight and strength, increase cardiovascular fitness, lower cardiovascular and other chronic disease risk factors, maintain optimal blood sugar balance, increase sleep quality, promote liver health, develop better stress resilience, and manage state during demanding times. 


Robina Redknap

As the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer, Robina provides leadership to the Nursing and Midwifery Office. Working in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Health Professional Officer and Chief Dental Officer she provides policy oversight and high level advice in relation to a range of clinical and related issues to key stakeholders, including the Director General and Minister for Health.

Robina has a strong history of achievement in the development and delivery of strategic and operational initiatives, particularly in the nursing and mental health sectors.

Initially trained as an Enrolled Nurse, Robina completed her Registered Nurse training in 1986. She has extensive experience in clinical, managerial, education and executive leadership positions. She is also active in research to improve outcomes for the people we care for and the clinicians who serve them.

Robina is committed to working in collaboration and partnerships with others to break down silos and successfully navigate the complexities of delivering high-quality and sustainable person-centred care in a diverse and constantly evolving healthcare system.

In addition to her registered nursing qualification, Robina holds a Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management and is a Doctor of Health Science (Clinical Leadership and Management). She has been awarded Adjunct Associate Professorships with Edith Cowan and Notre Dame Universities, for her contribution to Nursing and Midwifery education, research and clinical practice development. Robina has also been inducted into the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and was the recipient of the 2020 Edith Cowan University Distinguished Alumni Award for   achieving extraordinary success within her industry and making a sustained and significant contribution to the profession.


Rebecca Love

Chief Clinical Officer IntelyCare, MSN, RN; President, SONSIEL

Rebecca Love, RN, BS, MSN, FIEL is an experienced nurse executive and first nurse featured on Ted.com, and part of the inagural nursing panel featured at SXSW 2018.  Rebecca, was the first Director of Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the United States at Northeastern School of Nursing – the founding initiative in the Country designed to empower nurses as innovators and entrepreneurs, where she founded the Nurse Hackathon, the movement has led to transformational change in the Nursing Profession. 

In early 2019, Rebecca, along with a group of leading nurses in the world, founded and is President of SONSIEL: The Society of Nurse Scientists, Innovators, Entrepreneurs & Leaders, a non-profit that quickly attained recognition by the United Nations as an Affiliate Member to the UN.    Rebecca is an experienced Nurse Entrepreneur, founding HireNurses.com in 2013 which was acquired in 2018 by Ryalto, LTD UK, where she served as the Managing Director of US Markets, until it’s acquisition in 2019.  

Currently, Rebecca serves as the Chief Clinical Officer of IntelyCare, Inc.  Rebecca is passionate about empowering nurses and creating communities to help nurses innovate, create and collaborate to start businesses and inventions to transform healthcare.  

Rebecca holds a M.S. in Nursing from Northeastern University, B.A. in International Relations/Spanish from Boston University, an, sits on the board of NextGen Ventures, Health Science Entrepreneurs at Northeastern University & the Host Committee for the Massachusetts ACLU.  She currently lives in Marblehead, Massachusetts with her husband and 3 children.

Meresaini works for the Fiji Nurses Practitioner Society. She is an open-minded and dedicated person to her career for caring for the lives of people around her. At work, she succeeds in communicating to people and adjusts easily to changes. She believes that a person should work on developing their professional skills and learn new things all the time.

Meresaini has two children at University and her husband works as steward in the Methodist Church of Fiji. She loves meeting people, singing, playing cricket, volleyball, crocheting and fishing.
