What is an abstract?
An abstract provides a brief overview of your presentation and serves two purposes for the conference.
The first, is it allows the scientific committee to evaluate if it is relevant to, and aligns with, the themes of the overall conference.
The second, allows delegates to quickly understand the focus of your presentation, to decide if it is relevant and of interest to their practice.

Please ensure you have read the Abstract Guidelines before submitting your abstract.
A valid ACNP Membership (covering the conference period) and 2024 Conference Registration are required for submissions to be considered.

Why submit an abstract for the annual ACNP National Conference?
The Australian College of Nurse Practitioners National Conference is the annual showcase event offering a comprehensive and diverse program for Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Practice Nurses and Nursing leaders. This key national event attracts more than 500 delegates both face to face and virtually.
To ensure we deliver a comprehensive and diverse program for Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Practice Nurses and Nursing leaders, the contribution of presenters like you is critical! It is how we develop an interesting, diverse and educational program that ensures senior professionals in the healthcare sector, continue to grow, improve and gain invaluable knowledge from those in the field.

The ACNP Scientific Conference Committee will review, assess and discuss on each abstract submitted to ensure we are delivering a concentration of theme specific and relevant topics of the moment for all conference delegates to access and enjoy.

Abstract Portal opens 1 March 2024 and will strictly close COB on 30 April 2024.
PLEASE NOTE - Approved Abstracts will be published in the Conference program and on the ACNP website. Please ensure your presentations adhere to the approved formatting to ensure it is at a standard suitable for projection and published writings.

Monday 10 June - Outcomes released
Monday 17 June - Successful applicants required to accept offer
