1. Registration Confirmation
After completing your registration you will receive a confirmation email to the email address your provided. Please keep this email which can be used for cancellations, transfers and payments. A second confirmation email will be sent 7 days prior to the conference. Please note that occasionally we may send program changes or other important information to your email.
Invoices and Receipts
Tax invoices are generated at the time of registration and are sent with the confirmation email address to the individual or nominated contact of a group booking. The attendee is responsible for the forwarding invoices to their accounts department for payment.
2. Pricing
Member pricing
ACNP offers members discounts for all ACNP education sessions and events. Your membership must be current at the time of undertaking the education session or event for the member registration price to apply. Delegates will have the option to pay their membership or the difference between the member and non-member registration before entering the session.
Student member pricing
You must be a student currently enrolled in the Nurse Practioner's Masters Course at the time of attending the education session or event.
3. Cancellation, Amendments and Refund Policy
All cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing via email to the ACNP events team events@acnp.org.au.
Transferring your registration
Unfortunately, we do not allow transfer of tickets as the waitlist for the conference is based on a first come, first serve basis. If you are unable to attend the conference, please notify us as early as possible so we are able to reallocate your ticket to the next person in line and arrange a refund of your purchase. 1300 433 660 or email to events@acnp.org.au.
Refunds
All requests for cancellations or full refunds must be sent to events@acnp.org.au. Requests received before 1 September 2023 will be processed minus any credit card transaction fees. Requests received after 1 September 2023 will incur a 25% administration fee.
Converting an in-person registration to a virtual registration
If you are unable to attend the conference in person and would like to convert your in-person registration to a virtual one, please email events@acnp.org.au no later than 1st September 2023 to avoid being charged any fees.
4. Changes
ACNP reserves the right to make changes to program content, workshops and/or event dates. You will be notified via email of any changes and you may be eligible for refund for part of your registration. ACNP reserves the right to make changes to a published program without notice, however, where possible, notification of changes will be made.
5. Payment
Your registration is not confirmed until it is paid in full. ACNP's payment terms are 14 days from date of invoice. Payments can be made using the following methods:

6. Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel and medical insurance prior to coming to the ACNP National Conference 2023. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the meeting, or through cancellation of the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. ACNP takes no responsibility for any participant failing to insure. Please speak to your travel agent or airline in regard to this matter.
7. Disclaimer
The conference
P\program and registration information is correct at the time of printing.
However, the organisers reserve the right to change the information where
necessary without notice. Registrants attend the conference at their own risk.
The Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) are not liable for any
losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by
registrants including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit
through registering for the conference, attending the conference, cancellation
of the conference, failure of the conference to achieve your expectations, or
for any error or omission by ACNP. The ACNP does not accept liability for the
damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons
or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the ACNP
National Conference 2023 or related events.
8. Force Majeure
ACNP shall
not be held liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference
where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The organisers will use all
reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or
occurrence of any such cause. In this clause, Force Majeure means circumstances
which are beyond the reasonable control of the all involved parties, and which
are reasonably likely to affect the successful delivery of the Event or would
make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for a party to
perform its obligations as originally contracted under this Agreement,
including: fire, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, failure
of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, collapse of building
structures, widespread disease or other public health emergency (including
pandemic or epidemic), strike or other industrial action, the outbreak or
declaration of war, act of terrorism, revolution or government orders or action
(including the declaration of a State of Emergency). Without prejudice to its
obligations ACNP accept no liability and will not be liable for any
compensation where the performance of its obligations under this Agreement is
affected by Force Majeure.
9. Privacy and Security Policy
ACNP collects information as required in order to administer and manage registrations for our events. If you do not provide all the relevant information including your email address your registration may not be confirmed. ACNP is totally committed to protecting the information collected for this purpose and will not make your details available to any third party in any instance. If you wish to access your information or have queries in relation to the way the ACNP handles this information, please contact us on 1300 433 660.
ACNP considers the security of your information to be of paramount importance. When you pay your membership fees or register for an ACNP program, our secure server uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to connect to our website, which encrypts all the information sent from your device. The following indicates that you have entered a secure session:
i. the "https" in place of the usual "http" in your browser address box
ii. the small padlock at the foot of your browser
Both secure indicators will be present when you are requested to enter your credit card details.
InstantSSL Certification
ACNP has an InstantSSL certificate. This identifies ACNP as a secure environment in which you can transact. To view details of our security certificate, please click on the padlock in your browser footer. ACNP’s payment gateway is 'eWay', which uses 128-bit DES encryption right through to the banks' EFTPOS networks where credit card transactions are automatically processed.
